Our Dogs

This is Emma our soon to be 12 year old Golden Retriever. "Emma Jean Jelly Bean" is her full name, and we love her. She is the most patient, understanding, and loving dog. She is not a pet, she is a member of our family. Unfortunately, her health is clearly starting to dimenish and we aren't sure how much longer we she will be with us. For more information about Golden Retrievers, check out the Golden Retriever Club of America website. We would recommend this breed to anyone!

She's always been a big girl
with eyes that melt your heart
and a love for the water

This is George. We had him from 6 weeks until he was 4. When we moved from Virginia back to California we were not able to bring him with us. He nows lives with our close friends Cindi and Larry who have several acres with horses in Oaklahoma. He's probably happier with them than he was with us because he was never quite happy with suburban life. For more information on the Great Pyrenees breed check out The Great Pyrenees Club of America.

how could you resist

he looks enormous
but it's just a great fur coat

This is Jackson and Zoe. Jack, as we call him, and Zoe are sibling black Great Danes. They were born Thanksgiving Day 2003 and we got them both in February 2004 as a 14th Anniversary present. Zoe stayed in Virginia with a nice family that lived near us when we moved to California.

they sleep
they play
they bathe

This is Brodie "Brodalicious" McFuzzybutt. His mother was a Poodle/Jack Russel Terrier and his dad was a Chihuahua. He was the only puppy in his litter to not have the short coat of a Chihuahua. He is Jack's best friend and a great addition to our family. He only weighs 9 lbs but he more than holds his own against 145 lb Jack.
